ThrottleNet is hiring a Technical Alignment Engineer in Saint Louis, Saint Louis County, US. This role focuses on driving consistency, security and best‑practice compliance across client environments while traveling frequently to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and align client systems with ThrottleNet security standards and industry regulations.
- Identify configuration gaps, propose remediation plans, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and document best‑practice frameworks.
- Perform regular compliance audits, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments.
- Provide technical guidance and training to client IT staff.
- Prepare clear reports that translate technical findings into actionable business recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in systems alignment, compliance engineering, or security operations.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL, NIST, ISO 27001, and other compliance frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with vulnerability management tools, configuration management, and network security.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently to client sites.
