Mass General Brigham is seeking a Team Lead Patient Access Representative at its Brigham and Women’s Hospital location in Jamaica Plain, Suffolk County, US. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach a team of Patient Access Representatives to deliver high‑quality front‑line service.
- Oversee patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling processes.
- Resolve complex access issues, escalations, and patient inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with clinical departments, billing, and IT to improve workflow efficiency.
- Monitor performance metrics, generate reports, and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Participate in training initiatives and onboarding of new staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in patient access, registration, or medical office administration.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or team‑lead experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of insurance verification, scheduling software, and electronic health records.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to lead a diverse team and manage multiple priorities.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in health administration or related field preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
