RES Consultant Group is seeking a Tax Manager to work remotely from Saint Petersburg, Pinellas County, FL. This full‑time, client‑facing role supports a niche group of self‑employed professionals, primarily physicians, with an emphasis on advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for high‑net‑worth individuals and professional practices.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to maintain long‑term client relationships.
• Supervise and mentor a pod‑based team of accountants and junior tax staff.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and stay current on tax law changes.
• Coordinate with administrative and accounting support to streamline workflow and meet deadlines.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or EA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax preparation and consulting, preferably serving physicians or other self‑employed professionals.
• Strong knowledge of individual, partnership, and corporate tax regulations.
• Excellent communication and client‑service skills.
• Proven ability to lead remote teams and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.

Compensation & Benefits
