Key Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and multi‑state tax returns for partnerships, individuals, trusts, and foundations.
• Draft and manage correspondence with federal and state tax authorities.
• Research tax regulations, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
• Assist in tax provision calculations and quarterly/annual reporting.
• Perform tax projections and scenario analysis for strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate with finance team members to ensure accurate and timely filings.
• Maintain organized documentation and support audit processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or similar certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in tax compliance and reporting, preferably in a public‑accounting or corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and multi‑state tax regulations for partnerships, individuals, trusts, and foundations.
• Proficiency with tax software (e.g., CCH, UltraTax, Thomson Reuters) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for drafting correspondence with tax authorities.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
