About This Position
Join Cuso International as a Talent Acquisition Lead in Parliament Hill, Ottawa. This permanent, full‑time role reports to the COO and offers a competitive salary of CAD $74,909‑$93,636.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent across Canada and internationally.
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment cycles, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a diverse and inclusive candidate pipeline.
- Partner with department heads to understand workforce needs and create tailored hiring plans.
- Manage the recruitment team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
- Maintain recruitment metrics and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
- Enhance employer branding initiatives and represent Cuso at career fairs, networking events, and virtual recruiting platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or HR recruitment, preferably in the non‑profit sector.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a recruitment team.
- Excellent communication skills in English; French fluency strongly preferred, Spanish considered an asset.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using ATS and HRIS systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
