Systems Engineer/Architect

This full‑time role offers a competitive salary of $96,715 per year and involves designing, integrating, and supporting complex engineering solutions for prime‑contractor projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of system solutions across engineering, software, and integration domains.
• Develop detailed system specifications, interface control documents, and verification plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless system integration, testing, and evaluation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
• Manage lab and field installation activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support integrated logistics, training development, and multimedia delivery for client projects.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, architecture, or integration for defense, aerospace, or large‑scale technical projects.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes (e.g., INCOSE, DoD SE Handbook) and model‑based development tools.
• Proficiency with software development life‑cycle, testing frameworks, and configuration management.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required by client contracts.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with C++, Java, or Python development and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Background in integrated logistics support (ILS) and training system development.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or INCOSE CSEP.
