BCD Travel is seeking a Supervisor for Large Scale Meetings and Events (Life Sciences) to join its US team. This role oversees the planning and execution of high‑impact scientific conferences and gatherings, ensuring flawless delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of event planners in the design, coordination, and delivery of large‑scale life‑sciences meetings across the United States.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and risk‑mitigation plans, ensuring all events stay on schedule and within financial targets.
• Serve as primary client liaison, translating strategic objectives into creative event concepts and measurable outcomes.
• Manage vendor selection, contract negotiations, and on‑site logistics, including venue setup, AV, catering, and registration processes.
• Monitor performance metrics, produce post‑event reports, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience supervising large‑scale corporate or scientific events.
• Strong knowledge of life‑sciences industry regulations, compliance, and stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client‑service skills.
• Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
