Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and lay out structural steel drawings and specifications for lead track assemblies.
• Set up, align, and mark steel components using precision tools and laser layout equipment.
• Coordinate with welders, fitters, and project managers to ensure accurate fabrication and timely delivery.
• Maintain a safe, organized shop environment and enforce OSHA standards.
• Mentor junior fabricators and assist the Shop Foreman with scheduling and workflow planning.
• Perform quality inspections and document compliance with project tolerances.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in structural steel layout fabrication, preferably in a lead‑track or similar environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of layout tools, laser positioning systems, and measuring instruments.
