Key Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and review structural systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and environmental engineers to develop integrated project solutions.
• Prepare detailed construction documents, calculations, and specifications compliant with local, state, and federal codes.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases.
• Perform load assessments, seismic and wind analysis, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Utilize BIM, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, RISA) to produce accurate models.
• Support project budgeting, scheduling, and risk management activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the United States.
• 5+ years of experience in structural design for water and wastewater facilities.
• Proficiency with structural analysis tools and CAD/BIM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE, and local building codes.
