Staff Auditor I – REMOTE

Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a Staff Auditor I to join its Ryder Audit Services (RAS) team on a fully remote basis. This role supports internal audit and advisory activities, helping drive continuous improvement across Ryder’s business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform risk‑based audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
• Document audit findings, prepare clear workpapers, and present recommendations to senior management.
• Assist in developing audit plans, testing procedures, and follow‑up actions.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify control gaps and suggest practical solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Support senior auditors with special projects and ad‑hoc analyses.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in internal audit, compliance, or related analytical roles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with audit software is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment.

Compensation

Annual salary: $78,436.55 (fixed)

Remote – based in Five Points, Wake County, US.
