Job Summary

Ryder System is looking for a Staff Auditor I to join its Ryder Audit Services (RAS) team remotely from Boston, Suffolk County, US. This entry‑level audit role provides internal audit and advisory support across Ryder’s business units while ensuring compliance and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform audit fieldwork, including risk assessments, testing of controls, and documentation of findings.
• Prepare clear, concise audit workpapers and reports for senior auditors and management.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and recommend actionable improvements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand processes and gather evidence.
• Assist in follow‑up activities to ensure timely remediation of audit findings.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations, industry standards, and Ryder policies.
• Support special projects and ad‑hoc analyses as directed by the audit manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or related financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with audit software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $66,153.52 annually. Competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off.
