Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a Staff Auditor I to join its Ryder Audit Services (RAS) team. This full‑time, remote position is based out of Frankfort, Franklin County, US.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform internal audit fieldwork, including planning, testing, and documentation of audit procedures.
• Identify control gaps, assess risks, and recommend practical improvements.
• Prepare clear audit findings, workpapers, and executive‑level reports.
• Collaborate with business leaders to ensure audit recommendations are understood and implemented.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and advisory projects across Ryder’s operations.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and professional auditing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or related financial assurance roles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with audit software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
