Staff Auditor I – REMOTE

Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a Staff Auditor I to join its Ryder Audit Services (RAS) team on a fully remote basis. This role supports internal audit and advisory activities, helping drive continuous improvement across Ryder’s business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform risk‑based audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
• Develop audit work programs, document findings, and prepare clear, actionable reports.
• Collaborate with business leaders to recommend process improvements and monitor implementation.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules, testing procedures, and data analysis.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry regulations, internal policies, and best‑practice audit standards.
• Support senior auditors in special projects and ad‑hoc investigations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in internal audit, compliance, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with audit software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.

Compensation

Annual salary: $74,701.63 (fixed).
