About This Position

Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a Staff Auditor I to join its Ryder Audit Services (RAS) team on a fully remote basis. This role supports internal audit and advisory activities, helping drive continuous improvement across Ryder’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform risk‑based audits of business processes, systems, and controls.
  • Document audit findings, prepare clear workpapers, and present actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop remediation plans and track implementation.
  • Assist senior auditors in planning, scoping, and testing audit procedures.
  • Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and internal advisory projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in internal audit, compliance, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong understanding of audit methodologies (e.g., COSO, ISO) and risk assessment techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with audit software is a plus.
  • High level of integrity, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Compensation

Annual salary: $71,478.95 (fixed). Remote work arrangement.
