Job Summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care is seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to join its finance team in Glendale, Maricopa County, AZ. This full‑time role supports the Controller with month‑end close, reporting, and audit preparation while ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Generate financial statements and management reports for senior leadership.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis.
• Maintain fixed‑asset schedules and depreciation calculations.
• Monitor cash flow, expense allocations, and budgeting inputs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, federal and state regulations, and GAAP standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including operations and billing, to resolve accounting issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in general ledger accounting, preferably in a healthcare or service‑based environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of GAAP and experience with audit processes.

Compensation & Benefits
