Job Summary

Disney is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Disney Experiences (DXT) Technology & Digital team in Bay Lake, Orange County, US. This on‑site role will design and deliver immersive digital solutions for Disney’s world‑class vacation brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain high‑performance software platforms that power guest experiences across Disney Parks, Cruise Line, Aulani Resort and Disney Vacation Club.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross‑functional engineers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and champion best practices in agile development, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Integrate cloud services, IoT devices, and real‑time data streams to create seamless physical‑digital interactions.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in large‑scale consumer‑facing applications.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Swift, C#) and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and micro‑services architecture.
• Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication abilities, and a passion for creating magical guest experiences.
