Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end‑to‑end data integration solutions that meet business and product requirements.
• Develop data models, pipelines, and storage strategies on AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, etc.).
• Define data governance, security, and compliance standards across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable architectures.
• Evaluate and recommend modern data technologies and integration patterns.
• Create technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and best‑practice guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands‑on data architecture or senior data engineering experience.
• Deep expertise with AWS data services (Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, Athena).
• Proven track record designing data pipelines using ETL/ELT, streaming (Kinesis, Kafka), and batch processing.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling (relational, dimensional, NoSQL) and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code (CloudFormation, Terraform) and CI/CD for data workloads.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Data Analytics – Specialty.
• Familiarity with container orchestration (EKS, ECS) and serverless architectures.
• Background in big‑data technologies such as Spark, Presto, or Snowflake.
