Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between patients, payers, and internal teams to facilitate timely reimbursement approvals.
• Verify patient eligibility, collect and submit required documentation, and track claim status.
• Educate patients and healthcare providers on insurance benefits, coverage policies, and out‑of‑pocket cost estimates.
• Collaborate with the Sonexus Access and Patient Support team to streamline onboarding, qualification, and adherence processes.
• Utilize advanced technology platforms to document interactions, maintain accurate records, and generate performance reports.
• Identify and resolve reimbursement issues, escalating complex cases to senior management when necessary.
• Stay current with federal, state, and payer regulations affecting specialty drug reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health administration, finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in patient access, reimbursement, or health‑care finance.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and specialty drug formularies.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and patient support platforms.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
