Sr. Contracts Manager, Contracts Systems & Reporting
About This Position
The Senior Contracts Manager, Contracts Systems & Reporting role at Amentum in Washington, D.C. leads contract compliance, system initiatives and reporting to ensure regulatory adherence and data‑driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the contract compliance program, monitoring adherence to federal regulations and internal policies.
- Lead implementation and optimization of contract management systems, ensuring data integrity and usability.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver comprehensive compliance dashboards and performance reports for senior leadership.
- Coordinate cross‑functional training on compliance processes, system usage, and best practices.
- Partner with Contracts, Subcontractor Management, Legal, Finance and Operations teams to align compliance activities with business objectives.
- Analyze contract data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, recommending system enhancements and policy updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Engineering or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in contract management, compliance, or related governance roles, preferably within federal contracting.
- Proven expertise with contract management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Deltek) and advanced reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other government contracting regulations.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive change in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a senior or managerial position overseeing compliance and systems reporting.
- Project management certification (PMP, Six Sigma) or similar.
- Security clearance eligibility.
Compensation
Annual salary: $144,939.45
