Sr. Analyst/JIRA SME (Remote)

GovCIO is seeking a Sr. Analyst/JIRA SME to support the Department of Veterans Affairs Patient Care Services Product Line. This fully remote role is based in Archer, Laramie County, US with a salary of $125,241.84.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for JIRA, configuring workflows, boards, and custom fields to align with agile development processes.
• Collaborate with VA product owners, developers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into JIRA solutions.
• Provide day‑to‑day support, troubleshooting, and training for end‑users across multiple time zones.
• Maintain documentation, best‑practice guides, and release notes for all JIRA configurations and integrations.
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives) and ensure JIRA reflects accurate sprint metrics.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with active Public Trust or Suitability clearance.
• 5+ years of experience in JIRA administration and agile software development environments.
• Strong knowledge of JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management, Confluence, and Atlassian Marketplace add‑ons.
• Proven ability to design custom workflows, automation rules, and reporting dashboards.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for remote collaboration.
• Experience supporting federal or healthcare IT projects is a plus.

Work Schedule & Compensation

Full‑time, remote position with core business hours 8 am–5 pm ET. Salary: $125,241.84 annually.
