Sr. Analyst/JIRA SME (Remote)

GovCIO is seeking a Sr. Analyst/JIRA SME to support the Department of Veterans Affairs Patient Care Services Product Line. This fully remote US‑based role works core hours 8 am‑5 pm ET.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for JIRA, configuring workflows, screens, permissions, and dashboards to align with agile development processes.
• Collaborate with VA product owners, scrum masters, and developers to translate business requirements into JIRA solutions.
• Provide day‑to‑day support, troubleshooting, and training for end‑users across multiple VA teams.
• Maintain JIRA integrations with Confluence, Bitbucket, and other DevOps tools.
• Conduct regular audits, generate performance metrics, and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Suitability/Public Trust security requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing JIRA in an agile software development environment.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.
• Proven ability to design custom workflows, automation rules, and reporting dashboards.
• Excellent communication skills; able to train and support technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship with eligibility for Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
• Experience supporting healthcare or government projects is a plus.

Compensation

Base salary: $132,774.78 per year.

Location

Remote – work from anywhere in the United States, with core business hours aligned to Eastern Time (8 am‑5 pm ET).
