Sr Agentic AI Engineer/ Architect – Remote

Beacon Hill is hiring a Sr Agentic AI Engineer/Architect to lead Non‑Human Identity (NHI) governance on a 6‑month remote contract, based in the United States. The role blends identity, cloud and cybersecurity to build a secure AI and machine‑identity platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and roll out the NHI governance platform across cloud environments.
• Develop operational processes and automation for secure AI and machine identity lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with identity, security, and engineering teams to integrate NHI controls into existing workflows.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and drive best‑practice standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and compliance reviews related to AI and machine identities.
• Produce documentation, reporting, and metrics to demonstrate governance effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in identity, cloud security, or cybersecurity engineering.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML model lifecycle, machine identity, and zero‑trust architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IAM solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation languages (Python, PowerShell, Terraform, etc.).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NHI or device identity frameworks.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
