Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end revenue recognition process in compliance with ASC 606 and GAAP.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries related to contract revenue, milestones, and performance obligations.
• Coordinate with billing, operations, and IT to ensure accurate data capture from over 250 ambulatory surgery centers.
• Develop and maintain revenue schedules, forecasts, and variance analyses for senior leadership.
• Assist with external audits, providing documentation and explanations for revenue-related balances.
• Identify process improvements, automate reporting, and support month‑end and quarter‑end close activities.
• Train junior accountants on revenue recognition policies and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years focused on revenue recognition.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606, GAAP, and SOX controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel/Power Query skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and collaborate across multiple departments.
