About This Position

Broad River Rehabilitation is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) on a PRN basis for its brand‑new skilled nursing facility in Xenia, Greene County, Ohio. The role offers flexible, as‑needed hours with the possibility of transitioning to a full‑time position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence‑based practices.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Document all evaluations, treatment notes, and outcomes in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, occupational therapists, and dietitians to ensure coordinated care.
  • Educate residents and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care plan reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an SLP in Ohio.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
  • Experience in skilled nursing or long‑term care settings is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary: $160,783.19 (PRN rate equivalent). Flexible scheduling, opportunity for full‑time conversion, and access to professional development resources.
