About This Position
Broad River Rehabilitation is hiring a PRN Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide assessment and therapy services at its skilled nursing facility in Trotwood, Montgomery County, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and swallowing evaluations for residents under physician orders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence‑based therapeutic techniques and assistive devices.
- Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, occupational and physical therapists to coordinate interdisciplinary care.
- Provide education to residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and dysphagia precautions.
- Maintain up‑to‑date licensure and certifications, and participate in continuing education as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state license (Ohio) and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing or acute care setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently on a flexible PRN schedule.
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid documentation and billing guidelines.
Schedule & Compensation
This PRN position offers occasional to consistent weekly hours, with flexible daytime or weekend shifts. Annual salary is $176,519.27.
