Job Summary
Pearson is hiring a Specialist, Partnership Management in Edgewood, Richland County, US. You will act as the concierge for new and existing Board members, guiding them through onboarding, training, meetings and governance compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Board members throughout their lifecycle.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including documentation, training sessions, and orientation events.
- Manage logistics for Board meetings, including venue setup, virtual platform administration, agenda distribution, and minute preparation.
- Maintain accurate Board records, ensure compliance with corporate governance policies, and track required certifications.
- Develop and update Board member handbooks, FAQs, and communication templates.
- Collaborate with legal, finance and HR teams to resolve governance issues promptly.
- Monitor and report on Board engagement metrics and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in partnership, stakeholder, or Board relations management.
- Exceptional organizational and project‑management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities; comfortable presenting to senior executives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting platforms, and document‑management systems.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Compensation & Benefits
