About This Position

Job Summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Partnership Management in Douglas, Juneau, US. This role acts as the concierge for new and existing Board members, guiding them through onboarding, training, meetings and governance compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Board members throughout their lifecycle.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including document collection, background checks and orientation sessions.
  • Manage scheduling, logistics and material preparation for Board meetings, retreats and special events.
  • Maintain accurate Board records, governance documents and compliance trackers.
  • Provide timely updates on policy changes, training requirements and regulatory obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal legal, finance and communications teams to ensure seamless Board operations.
  • Develop and continuously improve Board member experience initiatives and feedback loops.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in partnership, stakeholder or Board relations support.
  • Exceptional organizational and project‑management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, board portals and document‑management systems.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.

Compensation

Annual salary: $93,269.27 (fixed)
