Job Summary
Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Partnership Management in Douglas, Juneau, US. This role acts as the concierge for new and existing Board members, guiding them through onboarding, training, meetings and governance compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Board members throughout their lifecycle.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including document collection, background checks and orientation sessions.
- Manage scheduling, logistics and material preparation for Board meetings, retreats and special events.
- Maintain accurate Board records, governance documents and compliance trackers.
- Provide timely updates on policy changes, training requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Collaborate with internal legal, finance and communications teams to ensure seamless Board operations.
- Develop and continuously improve Board member experience initiatives and feedback loops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in partnership, stakeholder or Board relations support.
- Exceptional organizational and project‑management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, board portals and document‑management systems.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
Compensation
Annual salary: $93,269.27 (fixed)
