About This Position
Cloudious LLC is seeking a Solution Architect Data to join their team in Louisville, Jefferson County, US. This senior role focuses on designing and delivering AWS Databricks solutions for commercial insurance case‑management environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end data pipelines using AWS, Databricks, PySpark notebooks, and Unity Catalog.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate insurance case‑management requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Lead technical design reviews, provide guidance on best practices, and influence architecture decisions.
- Develop and maintain documentation, data models, and ETL processes.
- Conduct performance tuning, cost‑optimization, and security reviews.
- Support integration with ancillary tools such as Informatica, MIDAS, and commercial insurance platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive hands‑on experience with AWS services and Databricks, including Unity Catalog.
- Proficiency in PySpark notebook development and data engineering best practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage and influence stakeholders.
- Detail‑oriented, comfortable with manual data validation and advanced Excel reporting.
- Experience in commercial insurance or IAG environments is a plus.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Familiarity with Informatica, MIDAS, or similar data integration tools.
- Background in case‑management system architecture.
Compensation
Salary range: $166,400 – $170,560 per year.
