Software Test Engineer – Centil – Lafayette, Boulder County, CO

Centil, a Sabel Systems company, is seeking a US‑Citizen Software Test Engineer with a Secret‑level (or higher) security clearance to join its mission‑critical space defense team in the Boulder, CO area.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test plans for missile defense and warning system software.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and software development teams to integrate testing early in the development lifecycle.
• Identify, document, and track defects; work with engineers to drive root‑cause analysis and resolution.
• Maintain test environments and ensure compliance with security and safety standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks, tools, and processes.

Requirements

• US citizenship with an active Secret (or higher) security clearance.
• Willingness to live in or relocate to the Boulder, CO area.
• Strong experience in software testing, test automation, and test‑driven development.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and secure coding practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
