About This Position
Rapisource LLC is hiring a Software Engineer 3 – RPA Developer for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission in Bee Cave, Travis County, US. This hybrid role offers three days of remote work and two required onsite days (Thursday & Friday) in Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to streamline agency workflows.
- Collaborate with business analysts and end‑users to gather requirements, analyze system flows, and translate needs into technical specifications.
- Investigate and troubleshoot problem areas, providing timely fixes and enhancements.
- Prepare, test, and deploy software releases, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Document code, processes, and configuration settings for future maintenance and knowledge sharing.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending automation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Texas Health and Human Services systems or public sector applications.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certifications in RPA tools or Agile methodologies.
Compensation & Benefits
