Job Summary

Oracle is seeking a Software Development Snr Manager to lead a skilled engineering team in Archer, Laramie County, US. This senior role oversees design, development, debugging and deployment of database and application software.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a cross‑functional team of software engineers, assigning tasks, setting priorities and ensuring timely delivery.
• Architect, design and enhance software solutions for databases, enterprise applications, tools and network services.
• Drive the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design reviews, coding standards, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues, perform root‑cause analysis and implement robust fixes.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, DevOps and security teams to align engineering output with business goals.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct performance reviews and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Maintain documentation, coding standards and best‑practice guidelines.
• Manage project budgets, resource planning and reporting to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of software development experience and minimum 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, object‑oriented design and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python or Go.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation

Annual salary: $221,929.25 (fixed)
