Oracle is looking for a seasoned engineering leader to head the software engineering team that will design, build, and operate a new enterprise‑scale CI/CD platform for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This senior role combines strategic vision with hands‑on execution to accelerate delivery velocity, reliability, and security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the technical vision and roadmap for the CI/CD platform, aligning it with Oracle’s broader cloud strategy.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, DevOps specialists, and SREs to deliver high‑quality, scalable services.
• Establish best practices for continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and security hardening.
• Partner with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to prioritize features and ensure platform adoption across OCI teams.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, mentorship, performance management, and career development.
• Oversee platform reliability, monitoring, incident response, and post‑mortem processes.
• Manage budget, staffing plans, and vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale, cloud‑native CI/CD solutions.
• Deep knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes), micro‑services architecture, and infrastructure as code.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and reliability engineering principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or other major public cloud platforms.
• Background in building developer tooling and automation frameworks.
