Safe Streets USA LLC is seeking a dedicated Smart Home Security Technician to join our Elite Home Pro team in Knoxville, Knox County. Deliver a 5‑Star customer experience by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cutting‑edge smart security systems for residential clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on‑site installation, configuration, and testing of smart locks, cameras, alarm panels, and home automation devices.
- Provide prompt, courteous service and educate homeowners on system operation and best‑practice safety tips.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely or in‑person, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Document all service calls, parts used, and time spent in the company CRM.
- Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and adhere to safety protocols and local building codes.
- Collaborate with sales and support teams to upsell additional security solutions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, CEDIA) preferred.
- 2+ years experience installing or servicing residential security or smart‑home systems.
- Strong knowledge of Wi‑Fi, Zigbee, Z‑Wave, and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to lift 50 lb equipment.
