Key Responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installation, configuration, and testing of smart locks, cameras, alarm panels, and home automation devices.
• Provide prompt, courteous service and educate homeowners on system operation and best‑practice safety tips.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely or in‑person, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Document all service calls, parts used, and time spent in the company CRM.
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and adhere to safety protocols and local building codes.
• Collaborate with sales and support teams to upsell additional security solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, CEDIA) preferred.
• 2+ years experience installing or servicing residential security or smart‑home systems.
• Strong knowledge of Wi‑Fi, Zigbee, Z‑Wave, and basic networking concepts.
