ServiceNow Developer

Oraapps Inc is hiring a ServiceNow Developer for a remote, 6‑month contract (possible extension) based in the United States. The role focuses on migrating legacy systems to ServiceNow and building custom applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine.
• Configure, customize, and script within the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
• Support the migration of legacy .NET and other on‑premise systems to ServiceNow.
• Enhance existing workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts.
• Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and documentation of all deliverables.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience developing on ServiceNow (App Engine, Service Portal, Flow Designer).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP integrations.
• Experience with legacy system migration, preferably .NET or Java applications.
• Understanding of ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Request Management).
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Application Developer preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience.

Compensation & Terms

Annual salary: $108,471.63 (fixed for the contract period). Full remote work with a 6‑month initial term and potential extension.
