About This Position
Job Summary
PPRO is seeking a (Senior) Software Engineer – Cash Flow to join its Munich, Cavalier County team. This role focuses on building and optimizing cash‑flow systems that power global payment solutions for partners like Ant Group, PayPal and Stripe.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance cash‑flow services supporting multi‑currency transactions.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Implement robust testing, monitoring, and alerting to ensure system reliability and compliance.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices in software craftsmanship.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including performance tuning and architectural refactoring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in fintech or payment processing.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or Go and experience with micro‑service architectures.
- Deep understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling for financial data.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‑paced, global environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of payment standards such as ISO 20022, PCI DSS, and AML regulations.
- Familiarity with event‑driven systems, Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Previous work with API gateways and secure authentication mechanisms.
Compensation & Benefits
