About This Position
Job Summary
Quantcast is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its London, Laurel County (US) office. This role focuses on building and scaling AI‑powered advertising technology within Quantcast’s Demand Side Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance services for the AI‑driven DSP.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and infrastructure teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
- Implement scalable algorithms for audience targeting, bidding, and measurement.
- Drive code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
- Optimize system performance and reliability in a cloud‑native environment.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical road‑maps.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Go and modern OOP principles.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of machine learning pipelines and data processing frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills
- Background in ad tech, programmatic advertising, or real‑time bidding.
- Familiarity with big data tools such as Spark, Flink, or Hadoop.
- Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and infrastructure as code.
Compensation
Salary: $165,703.10 per year (fixed). Additional benefits include health insurance, 401(k) match, flexible working hours, and professional development opportunities.
