Senior ServiceNow Developer

GovCIO is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain mission‑critical applications for the U.S. Coast Guard. This fully remote role is based out of Cammack Village, Pulaski County, US, with a salary of $144,657.33 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations to support Coast Guard operations.
• Design automated workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies in line with the Software Lifecycle Management Plan (SLMP).
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality releases on schedule.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize performance of ServiceNow instances.
• Maintain documentation, version control, and change‑management records for all deliverables.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience, including ITSM, ITOM, or custom applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, REST/SOAP APIs, and SQL.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or System Administrator.
