About This Position
GE Vernova is hiring a Senior Service Engineer – Digital Implementation Services in the United States. This role focuses on configuring and deploying digital‑twin software for power generation assets, delivering analytics solutions on‑premises or in the cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement digital twin applications for power generation equipment.
- Develop and deploy commercially reusable analytics solutions to collect and analyse operational data.
- Provide expert guidance to customers on asset performance, optimisation and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Aero, Thermal, software, and field services—to ensure seamless integration.
- Conduct on‑site and remote installations, testing, and validation of digital solutions.
- Document configurations, procedures, and best‑practice guides for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry standards to continuously improve service offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in service engineering, preferably within power generation or heavy‑industry environments.
- Strong expertise in Aero and Thermal systems and familiarity with digital twin concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and on‑premises industrial software deployments.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools, scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and API integration.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication and customer‑facing skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual base salary: $140,457.50. Comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
