Job Summary
Oracle is hiring a Senior Research Engineer – Agentic AI to join its Analytics division in Mongmong, Mongmong‑Toto‑Maite, US. This role focuses on developing next‑generation enterprise AI solutions, embedding agentic and generative AI into Oracle’s data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and implement cutting‑edge agentic AI algorithms for large‑scale enterprise analytics.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate AI models into Oracle Analytics Cloud.
- Conduct rigorous research on generative AI, reinforcement learning, and optimization techniques, publishing findings internally.
- Lead performance benchmarking, scalability testing, and continuous improvement of AI pipelines.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team’s research roadmap.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field.
- 5+ years of research‑oriented engineering experience, preferably in enterprise AI or analytics.
- Strong expertise in agentic AI, generative models, reinforcement learning, and large‑scale optimization.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and big‑data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Publications in top AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).
- Knowledge of Oracle’s data management stack.
- Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD for AI, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Compensation & Benefits
