About This Position
Oracle is hiring a Senior Research Engineer – Agentic AI to join its Oracle Analytics team in Uptown, Marion County, US. This role focuses on advancing enterprise AI products with cutting‑edge agentic and generative AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and prototype next‑generation AI algorithms for intelligent data analysis at scale.
- Integrate agentic AI and generative AI models into Oracle’s analytics platforms and enterprise software.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to translate research breakthroughs into production‑ready solutions.
- Lead experiments, evaluate model performance, and publish findings internally and externally.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the AI research community within Oracle.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with agentic AI, generative AI, deep learning, or reinforcement learning.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java and proficiency with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX).
- Proven track record of publishing research papers or patents in top AI conferences/journals.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with large‑scale data pipelines, distributed training, and cloud AI services.
- Knowledge of optimization, probabilistic modeling, and knowledge graphs.

Compensation & Benefits
