Senior Quality Engineering Manager (Onsite)

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Quality Engineering Manager to lead quality initiatives at its Midland-MPC facility in Phenix City, Russell County, GA. This onsite role offers a competitive salary of $190,904.89.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of quality engineers to ensure product compliance and continuous improvement.
• Define, implement, and monitor quality standards, metrics, and processes across the manufacturing line.
• Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to resolve non‑conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses, risk assessments, and reliability studies.
• Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior leadership.
• Maintain compliance with FAA, ISO, and internal aerospace standards.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or U.S. person status (required for system access).
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering within aerospace or high‑tech manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary quality teams.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and DoD/FAA regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and advanced data analytics.
• Familiarity with Pratt & Whitney product lines and engine manufacturing processes.
