Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
About This Position
HP is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join HP IQ, its AI innovation lab, in San Francisco, California. This role drives testing strategy for cutting‑edge intelligent technologies while collaborating with a global, multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test plans for AI‑driven products.
- Partner with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to define quality criteria and acceptance standards.
- Implement continuous integration/continuous testing pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Identify, track, and triage defects; lead root‑cause analysis and drive timely resolution.
- Mentor junior QA staff and promote best practices in test architecture, performance testing, and security validation.
- Contribute to the creation of documentation, test metrics, and quality dashboards for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional QA engineering experience, preferably in AI/ML or enterprise software.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Hands‑on experience with test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) and performance tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaborative skills.
