Job Summary
GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Commissioning & Startup for the BWRX-300 project in Boston, Suffolk County, US. This senior role supports the Operations Leader by coordinating engineering, construction, and licensing teams to deliver a safe and on‑time plant startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the BWRX‑300 Operations Leader to develop, track, and execute the commissioning and startup schedule.
- Lead cross‑functional integration across Engineering, Construction, and Licensee groups, ensuring clear communication and risk mitigation.
- Manage program budgets, resource allocation, and cost controls to stay within the approved $103,627.03 annual budget.
- Identify critical path activities, resolve bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present regular status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings.
- Ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, technical reviews, and commissioning tests.
- Mentor junior program staff and foster a collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of experience managing large‑scale commissioning or startup programs, preferably in nuclear or heavy‑industrial environments.
- Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and deliver complex projects on schedule and budget.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear licensing, safety, and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- PMP, PMI‑ACP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
