About This Position
Job Summary
WSP USA is seeking a Senior Professional, Project Accounting in Druid, Baltimore, US. This senior‑level role provides expert accounting and financial support to project managers and teams, handling complex budgets, margin analysis, and Oracle funding.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with one or more Project Managers to develop and maintain detailed work breakdown structures.
- Create, monitor, and adjust project budgets and forecasts for large, multi‑disciplinary projects.
- Perform margin analysis, cost tracking, and variance reporting to ensure profitability targets are met.
- Enter and manage project funding, cost transfers, and chargebacks in Oracle, keeping all project data current and accurate.
- Prepare and present financial statements, cost reports, and performance dashboards for internal and client stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, ensuring compliance with company policies and US GAAP.
- Support audit activities by providing documentation and explanations of project financials.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in project accounting, preferably within engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
- Advanced proficiency with Oracle ERP (Project Costing, Budgetary Control) and strong Excel/Power BI skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, produce accurate forecasts, and communicate findings clearly.
- Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
Compensation
Annual salary: $98,953.02 (fixed). Comprehensive benefits package offered.
