Senior Product Designer, Driver

Lyft is seeking a Senior Product Designer, Driver to join its Driver organization in Grand Central, Manhattan. This senior role leads design for core and earnings products that empower millions of drivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design for complex, high‑impact driver‑focused features, including core ride experiences and earnings dashboards.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, data analysts and research teams to define problem statements and design solutions.
• Create wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and design specifications that guide development.
• Establish and maintain design systems, style guides, and accessibility standards across driver products.
• Mentor junior designers, conduct design critiques, and champion user‑centered design principles.
• Analyze user data, feedback and market trends to iterate and improve product performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional product design experience, preferably in mobility, fintech or SaaS platforms.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating complex, data‑driven design solutions for consumer‑facing products.
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite and prototyping tools.
• Deep understanding of user research methods, usability testing, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills; ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Compensation

Base salary: $211,463.25 per year (fixed).
