Job Summary
GovCIO is seeking a Senior Process Analyst to work remotely for the U.S. Coast Guard, based in Chisolm, Montgomery County, US. This role drives the design, development, and maintenance of mission‑critical applications and automated workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Support rapid delivery of functional applications and automated workflows in line with the Software Lifecycle Management Plan (SLMP).
- Analyze, model, and improve business processes for the U.S. Coast Guard.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, workflow diagrams, and user guides.
- Conduct gap analyses, identify automation opportunities, and recommend solutions.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and provide post‑implementation support.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in process analysis, business analysis, or related roles, preferably within government or defense contracts.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, SLMP, and workflow automation tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret clearance.
Compensation
Salary: $63,145.32 annually (fixed).
