Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to define software requirements and conduct risk analyses for new medical device applications.
- Design, develop, and unit‑test embedded firmware for safety‑critical systems, ensuring compliance with IEC 60601 and ISO 13485 standards.
- Lead code reviews, provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, and enforce best practices for version control and documentation.
- Integrate software with hardware platforms, perform system integration testing, and support verification & validation activities.
- Participate in design reviews, contribute to design verification plans, and support regulatory submissions.
- Maintain and evolve existing code bases, troubleshoot field issues, and implement corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in embedded software development, preferably in medical devices.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for real‑time operating systems (RTOS) and low‑level hardware interfacing.
- Hands‑on experience with safety‑critical standards (IEC 60601, ISO 14971, FDA 21 CFR Part 820).
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently and lead technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Compensation & Benefits
