Job Summary
Terra Vista Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to join its legal team in Del Mar, San Diego County. This full‑time role supports the General Counsel with complex real‑estate and corporate matters, offering a competitive salary of $102,851.78.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Counsel in drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents related to real‑estate transactions, RV resorts, mobile home parks, marinas, and food‑and‑beverage operations.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and summarize findings for senior attorneys.
- Manage and organize case files, contracts, and corporate records in compliance with California regulations.
- Coordinate with external counsel, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of legal issues.
- Prepare and maintain litigation support materials, including pleadings, discovery requests, and deposition summaries.
- Monitor deadlines, maintain calendars, and ensure all filings are submitted accurately and on time.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior paralegals and administrative staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in real‑estate or corporate law.
- Paralegal certification (e.g., NALA, NFPA) or equivalent education.
- Strong knowledge of California real‑estate statutes, zoning laws, and property management regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with legal software (e.g., Clio, Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
