Northrop Grumman Federal Credi is seeking a Senior Network Administrator (Systems) for a hybrid role in Gardena, Los Angeles County. This senior‑level position oversees design, implementation, performance tuning, and recovery of Credit Union networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and deploy secure, high‑availability network infrastructure for credit union environments.
• Perform advanced performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Lead incident response and root‑cause analysis for network outages.
• Collaborate with the Information Systems Manager to mentor staff, conduct training sessions, and guide project teams.
• Maintain network documentation, configuration standards, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and security.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise network administration, preferably in financial services.
• Deep expertise with routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and WAN optimization (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.).
• Proven experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark) and performance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and security protocols.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, or CISSP are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
