About This Position

Role Overview

Maple is seeking a Senior Manager, People and Culture to lead its HR strategy in Toronto. This full‑time position offers a competitive salary between $130,000 and $145,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute people‑first strategies that align with Maple’s mission to transform healthcare.
  • Lead talent acquisition, onboarding and retention programmes for a fast‑growing, remote‑first workforce.
  • Design and deliver learning and development initiatives, including leadership coaching and up‑skilling pathways.
  • Oversee performance management, employee engagement surveys and culture‑building activities.
  • Provide expert advice to senior leadership on employment law, compensation design and organisational design.
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion across all people processes.
  • Analyse HR metrics and produce actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
  • Proven track record of building high‑performing teams in a technology‑driven environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and best practice HR frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence at all organisational levels.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, data analytics and modern talent management tools.
  • Passion for fostering a supportive, inclusive workplace culture.
